Alternatively, click here to view the map in a bigger window. The marked routes are parts of the trail of John Pendlebury, a noted archaeologist and curator of Knossos in the early 30s. A secondary aim of our expedition was to bring to life Pendlebury’s recommended itinerary for travellers to Crete, written before the War and to our knowledge unpublished ever since. Part 1 |
